Our special reading program helps your child develop the reading and comprehension skills they need to SUCCEED—as early as four years old.

After toddlers become familiar with the sounds and letters of the alphabet, we slowly but surely integrate them into our special reading program. Here, they will learn to combine two to three vowel and consonant sounds at a time to create words. This unique approach to language learning helps children gain an enhanced vocabulary by the age of three. By age four, you can expect your child to be able to write answers to questions based on the stories they read.

At the Little Explorer Montessori Preschool, we’re proud to reveal that our preschool graduates have better reading skills than the average First-Grader. Our Math curriculum is designed to help children develop the skills needed to excel in the Kindergarten classroom and beyond.

The food served at Little Explorer Montessori/Nursery is specially chosen to meet our stringent criteria – we’re strict on food coloring, artificial flavorings, and hydrogenated oils, which is why none of these make their way into our menu. Our food program can also accommodate requests made by parents (such as a vegetarian menu)—for more information, please feel free to contact us for your daycare or preschool needs.
